Random Reading Activity Challenge: Your Current Book in Pictures

I love challenges, and The Random Reading Activity Challenge is no exception. It is super fun because you never know what Karin the Librarian is going to ask you to do. It kinda feels like having a secret assignment, and I'm all about that! Jion me in participating in this challenge--It's not too late to sign up!

Here are the directions for this challenge:

This activity involves a little creativity on your part. I want you to pick up the book you are reading right now and think about a way to tell us a little about it - through pictures.

Here is my picture story for this challenge:

  1. I love your post. I never thought of doing it in another program and then saving them as pictures. Hmmmm I can definitely see the benefits of that method. Did you use Word? If so, how did you save the whole screen like that?

  2. Hey Karin--

I used word and took screenshots of each section. I thought it'd be easier than typing and adding in images. It only took me a few minutes vs. a long, long time. (And, I found most of the images from the flickercc site you had people use for a previous book cover challenge!)

Great idea for a challenge! I'm thinking of creating an acitvity for my students based on this idea!
