This is super cool. I just stumbled across a site for Kathryn Stockett's The Help (not exactly YA, but a great read!) where you can post a little flag to show the author where her books a being read. I read this book as part of a book club I belong to, and absolutely fell in love with it. It takes place in the South during the early 1960's and is a bit of an expose about what it was like to be a black servant waiting on white women. It is a realistic read and the characters absolutely come alive in it.But, I think that more authors/ publishers should make interactive google maps like this one! You even get to choose the color of you little marker. Guess who chose a fuchsia marker for Western Maine?!
