Some of the books I might read for this challenge include:

The Uglies Series
~Uglies
~Pretties
~Specials
~Extras

The Need Series
~Need
~Entice
~Captivate

Iron Fey Series:
~The Iron King

~The Iron Queen

The Caster Chronicles:
~Beautiful Creatures
~Beautiful Darkness
~Untitled Book Three

Hush, Hush Series:
~Hush, Hush
~Crescendo

This gives me about half of what I need to complete this challenge. Lots of these books will count toward some of the other challenges I'm participating in, so I'm not too worried about reading them.

Any other series books that I should get hooked on??

  1. Thanks so much for signing up for the challenge. Have fun and Good luck! The Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness was suggested to me by a librarian. I haven't read the first book yet, but it comes highly recommended by others too!

  2. I'm thinking of joining you Mrs. DeRaps as I've just ordered all three of The Chaos Walking Trilogy by Ness and I'm waiting for the third book of the Maze Runner Trilogy. Also, if Michael Grant's next book in the Gone series comes out, you bet I'll be reading that one. Heading over to Stalking the Bookshelves now.

  3. Woooo! I'm doing this challenge too :) And adding an extremely enthusiastic "second" to the Chaos Walking trilogy recommendation!!! Patrick Ness really is a GENIUS writer. I loved The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials too! One of the series on my list is series by Megan Whalen Turner that starts out with The Thief. Have you read any of those? I've heard nothing but rave reviews of her books all year!

  4. @ Katie: I've never heard of The Thief--I'll have to check it out! I have read all of the Chaos Walking books and I LOVED them. I wish there were more books in that series...Well, I actually have a prequel to the series that I got for free from amazon...I forgot about that! I could use it. Thanks for the ideas.

  5. I signed up for this challenge as well! Glad to see a familiar face. You post on my blog sometimes but I just now joined yours! You should consider reading the Wings, Spells, and Illusions series by Aprilynne Pike. You could also check out the Evernight Academy series.

  6. The protagonist of this book is Thomas, he is a likable hero. There are other protagonists but, Thomas is the main focus of the story. The antagonists are "the creators". Once a month for to years a boy has arrived in the box, and the boy this month is Thomas. They arrive with no memories of their past lives the only thing they remember is their names. Soon after Thomas arrives "the girl" arrives with dire warnings. There is no one over the age of 17 in this group of boys. They are a well organized group, broken in groups by their jobs. Each time a new boy comes the newest one before them is their mentor as it were. Thomas has Chuck as his mentor. Chuck is a younger and somewhat annoying pal for Thomas.
