48 Hour Book Challenge: Update (11 Hours 25 Mins. Total)

I've been reading off and on since 4:45pm. This has made for a crazy evening. Lots of little white lies, like telling my husband and company (who stopped by unannounced) that I had "homework," which is almost true because I do have some that I'm continuing to put off.

I am going to be in a few minutes, but the reading will not stop. My husband has been wanting to start The Book Thief ever since he heard snippets of it on a recent road trip. We've read about 7 or 8 pages already, but are planning to read for some time this evening. It's fun to read aloud in bed.

Here's an update on my other books:

-Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzgerald=Finished. It was fan-tastic. Superb. I cannot wait to read Crescendo, which is the next book in the series.

-Hurry Down Sunshine by Michael Greenberg=page 50. I'm starting to get into it. I'll read a lot more tomorrow.

-The Book Thief by Markus Zusak=page 8. We won't finish this tonight. I have the audio CDs and it's about 14 hours read aloud. Not tonight!

-We Were Here by Matt de la Pena=Just starting out. I'm going to read this while my husband gets ready for bed. I'll probably try to read a bunch of this tomorrow as well. I've heard lots of great reviews of this book.

PS. It's now 10:25 PM (EST).
